It is so crazy how schools do not care when a student poses an active threat to other students and staff. Like, they’ll do anything except expel the kid who follows around his female peers and makes thinly-veiled rape threats. You don’t think the student that has violent outbursts aimed at teachers and throws large objects at his peers is risk to community health and safety? Maximum penalty for vaping in the bathroom but nothing done about the kid multiple students contacted administration about.

i went out to lunch with two old highschool teachers of mine and a close friend who was also kind of a teachers pet today and it was really nice but it is kind of funny like. being able to swear and talk about drugs around them. im not uncomfortable, they’re two very respectful people, my friend and i are both adults and we’re not their students anymore (one doesn’t even work at the school anymore, the other is leaving the school soon) but it’s just kinda funny. like its natural, their two favorite students are me, who openly shows them my transsexual nude and suggestive art (which they love) and my friend who’s quite literally planning to get certified to grow and sell weed soon, so not adressing that would be kind of the elephant in the room. but so much of that school was about pushing kids into a certain way its kind of cool to be able to just be fully honest with them. it was sweet

the other day my gf was like “why do you call twitter/tumblr twitter dot com and tumblr dot com? they are apps.” and i had to break it to her i used these websites before they were apps, which she couldn’t fathom because when she was a teenager all social media already had apps and was mostly conducted on apps. anyway how yall doin

a few months ago i realised that every girl i've dated/had a serious crush on has come out as transmasc since and that's probably just a coincidence but i think it's very funny to believe i'm not actually bisexual but rather that i am so incredibly straight that i can tell when someone's a man years before they did because that's just how straight i am. i wasnt in a gay relationship i was just investing early

was kinda thinking about this when I saw Renee Rapp live recently-- I didn't know her visual vibe, I'd heard a few songs here and there but I hadn't really *seen* her, and her attire at Osheaga was really casual, a jersey (baseball/basketball?) and slacks. And that was so amazing! I couldn't help thinking, the work Billie Eilish has done for how women in pop music are allowed to dress is incredible. Seeing her up there all comfortable you just know that Billie walked in her oversized tops so that Renee in her slacks could run; Billie walked through all the critcisms about how she dressed slobbily and having to assert that she didn't owe anyone a display of skin, so that Renee could be comfortable and unquestioned running up and down the catwalk in front of 10,000 people. How iconic.

And I don't think we even realised at the time how much something as simple as letting Billie dress the way she as a (then-) 17-year-old teenager dressed, could end up meaning for a future generation of women in music.

Obviously there is still way to go, there were weirdos complaining about how 'plain' Dua Lipa's Glastonbury outfit was this year (in 2024!!), l have to ask, are you at Paris Fashion Week?? She is the musical HEADLINER of an entire day of music at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, and you can't grant her the space to exist as an artist, you have to moan about her dress not being excitingly revealing enough. There's work to do, it's still dismal out there. But the space Billie Eilish has created for a most ordinarily-dressed woman popstar is still heartening.

there are many things i think my school district could improve on but i will always be eternally grateful that they left ao3 unblocked. How else could i have created the tender memory of my ap bio teacher letting me into his classroom bc i always got to school stupid early and it was freezing outside so i’d sit at my triangular whiteboard desk at 7:50 in the morning reading a 100k+ highly explicit shuake fic before school even started .

oh man i love ryuannshiho sooo much, i used to draw and write fics for them all the time way back when lmao. i obviously love their dynamic when you dump akira on them but the middle school trio on their own are like, everything to me.
